WANT TO TEST YOUR PRACTICAL ART SKILLS for FREE?
Are you a graphic artist (or graphics art student) and would like to try some artwork projects that are common in screen printing, t-shirt shops and sign shops? Check out ASPA's Computer Graphic Artists Project. It was created to give graphic artists some practice producing the type of artwork you will have to create in a 'real world' print shop.
Why should you do our art exercises? Knowing how to create artwork used in a typical print shop can give you an advantage for job opportunities in commercial graphics.
When owners and managers of screen printing firms have a job opening in their art department, they often have difficulty finding qualified applicants.
Entry level graphic artists typically do not have the specific graphics art training that is required for screen printing.
Moreover, most experienced graphic artists have the creative talent for artwork design but lack the specific knowledge and/or training to produce and prepare art for production in a screen printing shop.
