Do you teach (or plan to teach) screen printing in your high school, Vo-Tech, CTE (Career Technical Education) school or in your screen printing shop? American Screen Printing Association (ASPA) has developed a set of lesson plans that will simplify the teaching of screen printing in your school or training facility. ASPA's 'Lesson Plans for Teaching Screen Printing' will guide you step-by-step in teaching the screen printing process to your students or employees. Our lesson plans make teaching screen printing so much easier than having to start a training program from scratch. The Lesson Plans for Teaching Screen Printing are coupled with ASPA Institute's Diploma in Screen Printing online training course. Each lesson plan has easy-to-follow references to the material covered in the Diploma Course training program. The lesson plans can be used for teaching screen printing on any brand of screen printing equipment. Each lesson is provided in PDF format which can printed out and distributed to others on your training staff. The entire set of lesson plans are packaged in one easy to download .zip file giving you instant access. Our lesson plans were written by ASPA's Education Director, Linda Berda, M.S.Ed who has written dozens of educational training materials for students. Each lesson plan follows a standard lesson plan structure including 'Overview', 'Objective', 'Plan', 'Reference Source', 'Discussions/Questions', and a section is provided on each sheet for 'Notes' allowing you to add any information that you may find helpful in presenting the lesson. Below is a sample lesson plan: How it Works... The lesson plans in screen printing are used in conjunction with the ASPA Institute Diploma in Screen Printing training course. You use the lesson plans together with the online training website to teach your students. The Diploma in Screen Printing Course is broken down into easy to follow, step-by-step training. As a teacher, you should take the course before providing training to your students (the course is included with the lesson plans.) It typically takes around 30 days to complete the course. To complete the Diploma course, you will take the ASPA Certified Screen Printer online exam. It is an 'open-book' test and you may take as long as necessary to complete it. When you pass the Certified Screen Printer (CSP) exam, you will have completed the course of study and will be awarded a Diploma in Screen Printing. You will also receive the ASPA Certified Screen Printer (CSP) Certificate of Achievement, Proof of Certification Letter and Job Services Packet (ebooklets). In addition, you will be listed on the online roster of Certified Screen Printers of American Screen Printing Association. Once purchased, the lessons plans are yours to keep. Access to the ASPA Institute learning website is included for one year. Renewal to the ASPA Institute learning website is $59 annually. Lesson Plans for Teaching Screen Printing: $199.
